INSS 2007 is the fourth annual conference with a selective single-track technical programs. Its aim is to provide a platform where researchers from academia and industry come together to discuss and address technical problems and solutions in these research areas.

The strong growth in networking technologies including wireless communications and the Internet and the ever increasing advancements in miniature sensors and low power microelectronics have brought researchers from various fields to develop an emerging multidisciplinary of networked sensor systems and applications. Such technology is expected to change the way how information is generated, processed, and communicated based on a large number of sensor nodes deployed for a specific application. Addressing these critical issues requires researchers from various disciplines to communicate effectively and collaborate together. The International Conference on Networked Sensing Systems invites outstanding research papers from the field of sensor technology, wireless networking or application of networked sensor systems. The conference especially encourages submissions that are suitable and should be of interest for the researchers from all three fields.
