Conference Location

INSS 2009 will be held from June 17-19, 2009 in Pittsburgh at Carnegie Mellon University.

Recommended hotels

INSS 2009 has blocked rooms in the Wyndham Pittsburgh. Please refer to http://www.wyndham.com/groupeventsnew/pitup_inss/main.wnt. The price will be $119 per day + taxes.

Directions

The directions from the hotel to CMU can be accessed at the Google Maps link. It is a nice/leisurely walk along the same side of the road but there will be several traffic lights along the way to cross the side streets (but not the main street there Forbes Ave).

The conference will be held in the University Center building (Building #28 on the campus map available at http://www.cmu.edu/homeimages/campus-map/CMU_MapColor_8x11.pdf). Directions will be posted from the intersection of Forbes and Morewood Gardens to the conference room. The conference will take place in the Rangos Ballroom.

At the end of Day 1, we will leave directly from the conference location to the river cruise and the buses will drop people off both at the hotel and at the conference location when the event is done.
