INSS 2012 Author Kit
The proceedings of the conference will be published by IEEE Conference Publication Program, e.g., IEEE Xplore. Authors of accepted papers requested to submit their final, camera-ready papers by Saturday, 28 April 2012 following the instructions available in this page.
  1. Prepare your final manuscript

    • Your final submission must use the IEEE Conference MS Word or LatTeX templates
    • Please adhere the page limits as instructed by the Program Chairs. (Full/Invited Paper : 8 Pages, Short/Industry Paper : 4 Pages, Poster/Demo: 2 Pages)
    • Choose from the list of official IEEE keywords for your Index Terms
    • Please add the CopyRight Notice at the bottom of the first page of each paper
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
        "U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright"
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
        "978-1-4673-1786-3/12/$31.00 ©2012 Crown"
      • For all other papers the copyright notice is:
        "978-1-4673-1786-3/12/$31.00 ©2012 IEEE"
  2. Get the final paper approved by IEEE Xplore PDF eXpress

    • Login to the site using conference ID : "inss12x"
    • If you are first time user you need to register, and if you are returning user of PDF eXpress just follow the on screen instructions
    • Make your final manuscript PDF IEEE Xplore­ compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs for IEEE Xplore compatibility
    • Please see the instruction file if you need any further assistance on this
  3. Submit approved PDF to INSS

    Once approved from IEEE Xplore PDF eXpress site, upload the final IEEE paper to EDAS using INSS 2012 Submission website
  4. Complete the IEEE Copyright form for INSS 2012

    • Authors are required to transfer the copyright of their accepted papers to IEEE
    • Fill in the form (.PDF/.DOC) and sign it
    • scan the form into a PDF
    • email the PDF to the Publication Chair
  5. Register for INSS 2012 at http://www.regonline.com/inss2012

    For each Full/Short/Industrial Paper a Full Registration is needed even though the author is a student. However, for Poster and Demo papers a Student Registration can present the paper. Invited Papers Authors should select Special Registration. Please note that if you register as IEEE and/or Student Member, the registration office might ask you to show your ID during the conference.
  6. Complete all the above stept by April 28th, 2012. This is a firm deadline.

Regular papers must be 4-8 pages long (two-column format) and include an abstract of 100-150 words. Short papers must be 2-4 pages long (two-column format) and include an abstract of 100-150 words. All papers should be formatted according to the IEEE transactions format.

Industry papers must be 2-4 pages long (two-column format) and include an abstract of 100-150 words. Papers should be formatted according to the IEEE transactions format.

Submissions should be in PDF format and will be handled through EDAS.

Notification of Acceptance: March 15th, 2012
